Editorial Policy

This page explains how Bytetidings researches, writes and corrects its articles.

Independence

Our coverage is editorially independent. Advertisers and companies we write about do not decide what we publish. Any sponsored content will always be clearly labelled.

Sourcing and fact-checking

  • We rely on primary sources wherever possible: official announcements, company filings, research papers, government advisories and trusted news agencies.
  • Every article lists its main sources at the end.
  • When sources disagree, we say so, or we leave out the claim until it can be confirmed.
  • Allegations in legal cases are reported as allegations, not facts.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help with research, summarising sources and drafting. Every article is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a human editor before it is published, and the editor is responsible for the final content. We do not publish AI-generated content without human review.

Corrections

If we make a mistake, we correct it as quickly as possible and, for important changes, add a note to the article explaining what was changed. To report an error, please use our contact page.

Images

We use our own illustrations, official press images supplied by companies for editorial use, and licensed or free-to-use stock photos.
